Regan Lohman, MSA
Regan brings more than 12 years of accounting, finance and auditing experience to L&A. Regan partners with companies in various stages to support as CFO, assist in debt and equity transactions, and create operational efficiencies within an existing finance department. Regan has experienced the full life cycle of startup, including IPO and wind-down. Prior to starting L&A, Regan worked in Ernst & Young LLP’s audit practice and has subsequently worked with a variety of startups in multiple industries including technology, biotechnology, renewable energy, CPG, advertising, and professional services. Regan received a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Iowa and a M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. In the off chance Regan isn’t working, you can find her at her local CrossFit gym, at the beach, or on the golf course.
Sefanie Collato, CPA
Stefanie is a Certified Public Accountant with over 11 years of combined experience serving public and private clients in a wide range of industries. Before joining Lohman & Associates, Stefanie was a Senior Manager in the audit practice at KPMG, LLP. With her experience she is positioned to help prepare clients for upcoming audits under AICPA and PCAOB standards, review consolidated financial statements and accompanying footnotes, review complex accounting transactions, and identify performance improvement opportunities. When Stefanie isn’t working on behalf of her clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, camping, hiking, and traveling.
Leslie Locke, CPA
Leslie is a Certified Public Accountant with over 16 years of experience in accounting for startups in a wide range of industries including biotech, advertising, and solar energy. She has helped several companies prepare for IPOs and acquisitions. She specializes in technical accounting, including revenue recognition, financial instruments, stock based compensation, business combinations, software development, leases, grants, and IFRS. Leslie has extensive experience preparing for and managing audits and transactions. She has also lead the charge on systems implementations including ERPs and equity management solutions. When she’s not reading the ASC, you can usually find her hiking, kayaking, playing with her dogs, or reading.
Shannon Wittman, MBA
Shannon has over 12 years of accounting experience for various small to mid-sized companies in the financial services, solar, tech, and bio-tech industries. She has focused her time streamlining and documenting accounting processes. Shannon has managed a team of accounting professionals and has overseen AP, AR, GL, Payroll functions within an accounting department. With that, she has facilitated the implementation of ERP systems, equity management tools, and various efficiency software solutions to establish proper controls. She has also prepared and lead teams through public and private financial audits. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, being active outdoors, or attending a local sporting event.
Eileen Hand, MBA
Eileen has been an accounting and finance professional in San Diego for over 9 years, including five years in various roles at a fortune 500 company and utility. The diversity of Eileen’s experience with those respective companies gives her a unique perspective into management strategies integral to the continued success of small and medium sized businesses. Eileen excels at implementing her strategies on an everyday basis by working with company management to take on their accounting and finance needs so her clients can focus on their core business. Eileen enjoys spending off-hours sampling new restaurants in San Diego, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
Marissa has over 7 years of accounting and finance experience, with extensive experience in financial institutions and commercial lending. Her experience working in federally-regulated, heavily-audited institutions brings a strong attention to detail and a focus on documentation and internal controls. Marissa enjoys problem-solving, and loves to dig in to problem areas and develop solutions. In her spare time, you can find Marissa hiking, trying new recipes, or at her local OrangeTheory studio.
Kelly Bedford, CPA
Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant with over 7 years of experience in public and private accounting. During her career, she has worked with companies of all sizes throughout various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, healthcare and financial institutions. Kelly offers a unique insight into improving business processes across various areas that gives our clients the ability to focus on growing their companies. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys baking, being outdoors and watching college football.
Pat Britt, MSA
Pat is a CPA candidate and former collegiate athlete. After playing four years of college baseball and getting his bachelor’s degree in accounting in New York, Pat moved back to San Diego to get his MSA from San Diego State University with an emphasis in financial reporting. He has worked with a variety of small businesses in San Diego, helping to bring their owners clarity and comfort through timely and accurate financial reporting. While not working or studying for the CPA exam, Pat enjoys lifting weights, golfing, and going to baseball games.
Aaron McCarthy, CPA
Aaron is a Certified Public Accountant with over 4 years of public, private, and forensic accounting experience. Aaron started his career at Deloitte in San Diego after graduating from the University of San Diego. He is passionate about continually improving his technical accounting knowledge while providing early stage companies quality accounting services. In his free time, Aaron enjoys running, working out, hiking, and exploring new areas of San Diego.
Makari Raspoutine, MSA
Makari is a CPA candidate, having received his MSA with an emphasis in financial reporting from San Diego State University. He has worked with several small businesses in San Diego, providing operational accounting services and assisting in software implementation. If he isn’t working or studying for the CPA exams, you can find him lifting weights, keeping up with competitive soccer, and attending music festivals.
